Taran Noah Smith might have quit acting, but his mother released a book about his experience in the spotlight called "Stardom Happens" in 2015. The former actor had a falling out with his family over money following his days on "Home Improvement," but they've since reconciled. At around 17, he fell in love with and married Heidi Van Pelt, a woman almost twice his age. The couple divorced in 2007 after opening a Los Angeles vegan restaurant together, which has since closed. At first it was unclear whether "Wilson" was his first name or last, but his full name is revealed as Wilson Wilson Wilson, Jr. In Season 6, it is revealed that his cousins are the Wilsons of The Beach Boys. He has a grown niece named Willow Wilson , who appeared regularly in the seventh season when she moved in with him for a while. His usual greetings are "Well, hi-dee-ho ..." or "Hi ho, there neighbor" or "good neighbor" when greeting Tim, "neighborette" when greeting Jill, and "Taylor lad" when greeting the Taylor boys. Perhaps most well known is Al's catchphrase, "I don't think so, Tim," which Al often says during Tool Time after Tim suggests doing something dangerous or stupid or merely says something that is obviously incorrect or based on wordplay.
